About the Role
We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to join our Kano Trucking Services facility on Oahu, HI. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be the backbone of our shipping and receiving operations, specifically handling ocean freight containers and trailers. This role is designed for those who are responsible, committed to delivering quality service, and capable of operating a sit-down forklift with precision.
Day in the Life
You will spend your day on your feet, standing or walking on the concrete floor of our expansive 77,000-square-foot warehouse. Your work involves loading and unloading shipping containers safely and efficiently, as well as preparing orders for delivery or pickup according to strict schedules. This includes tasks such as loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping. You will also be responsible for receiving and processing warehouse stock, performing inventory controls, and maintaining high-quality standards for audits.
The environment is dynamic; you must be comfortable working in multiple temperatures while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Effective communication with supervisors and coworkers is essential as you operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, ensuring space utilization is optimized and any inventory discrepancies are promptly reported.
