The Warehouse Associate works within a team environment to ensure that accurate shipping and receiving, order selecting, and accompanying paperwork processes are executed. This position involves hands-on storage, distribution, hand selecting, and palletizing duties across various environments, including the dry warehouse, freezer, refrigerator, and produce cooler.
You will be responsible for all warehouse technology tools and processes, including receiving, distribution, inventory control, and filling orders. The role requires implementing FIFO/FEFO (First In-First Out, First Expired-First Out) rules, inspecting perishable products for quality control, and operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts. You will help maintain a safe, collaborative, and clean workplace while working collaboratively with other team members on priorities for shipping and receiving.
This position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The work environment includes general warehouse settings with temperatures ranging from -10 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Protective clothing and safety toe footwear with non-skid soles are required.
