About the Role
Hotel Equities is searching for an outstanding Vice President of Operations. This role has a vital part in overseeing the dynamic development of our growing hotel portfolio. The ideal candidate will be engaged and authentic, with a strong focus on on-property results and a desire to invest in our hotels and teams’ success.
As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will strategically lead all facets of our growing portfolio of complex, full, lifestyle, and upper-midscale hotels and resorts. You will support regionally deployed vertical leaders and property-based teams to drive best-in-class results across all KPIs. This position serves as the key point of contact with ownership groups and brand partners, requiring local engagement with specific associations and meetings.
Who You Are
We are looking for a servant leader who is open to a remote traveling role of up to 50%. You must be near an area with airport access and possess a valid passport. You should have proven multi-unit experience in operations, working with Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and independently branded hotels. Experience leading select, upper-mid-scale, large, and full-service hotels is required.
You are a successful leader with a track record of opening, transitioning, renovating, and turning over properties. You are an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, with detailed organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. You are assertive by nature, a creative thinker and problem solver, and diplomatic and tactful. You maintain a supportive, positive, professional presentation and attitude, and are self-motivated, well-organized, and results-driven.
Travel is estimated at 50% locally, with out-of-state conferences or visits to partner hotels. We require 7-10 years of progressive hotel general management experience, including at least 5 years of Full-Service experience.

Requirements
