Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist veterinarians during exams, treatments, dentistry, and surgery
- check_circleHandle animal restraint, sample collection, and basic lab tests
- check_circleMonitor patients pre- and post-procedure and report changes
- check_circleMaintain accurate medical records and patient histories
- check_circleAdminister prescribed medications and vaccines as directed
- check_circleClean and sterilize exam rooms, instruments, and equipment
- check_circleEducate and support clients on pet care, wellness, and follow-up
- check_circleAssist with triage and support in urgent or emergency cases
- check_circleManage inventory of medical supplies and restocking
- check_circleUphold clinic safety, sanitation, and compassionate care standards
Requirements
- verifiedCertification as a Veterinary Assistant (AVA or equivalent) preferred
- verifiedCurrent rabies vaccination or willingness to obtain
- verifiedBasic life support/CPR training for animals (preferred)
