Vascular Surgeon

Job Description
About the Role
Join the National Wound Physician Group as a Vascular Surgeon dedicated to becoming an expert in wound management. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver modern, bedside wound care in the post-acute care setting, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. You will utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities to treat patients directly at the bedside.
The position is designed for physicians who value clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility. By focusing on patient care rather than administrative burdens, you can spend your time where it matters most. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, typically treating 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities.
Professional Development
We are committed to your growth as a specialist. Physicians receive physician-level wound management training and access to a wound fellowship, allowing you to learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Paid training is provided during onboarding, followed by a 6-month wound care fellowship to ensure you have the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence.
Work Environment and Culture
Our team values clinical experience, cultural fit, and a passion for helping wound care patients. We offer an individualized practice with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Enjoy a schedule with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. The standard full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
Clinical documentation is streamlined and efficient; it is performed at the point of care in real-time during clinical rounds using our proprietary wound-specific EMR. This approach minimizes paperwork and allows you to focus on your patients.
Application Details
We are looking for physicians with a full, active, and unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state where they wish to practice. Please note that this is a W2 employment contract, and no work visa sponsorship is available. We invite you to join our team and become an expert in your field alongside highly qualified physician peers.
