About the Role
As a Utility Machine Operator, you will be the backbone of our print media operations. This role exists to ensure the seamless execution of print and finishing projects, transforming raw materials into polished deliverables for our clients. You will set up, operate, and monitor print and finishing equipment while maintaining strict quality standards.
Your day will involve rotating between different machines and workstations to support overall production flow. You will load paper and substrates, perform basic machine changeovers, and use computer interfaces to enter job parameters. Beyond operation, you will inspect in-process work for registration, color, and finishing accuracy, ensuring every piece meets our rigorous standards. You will also assist with packaging, palletizing, and staging finished goods for shipping.
This position offers a unique opportunity to learn multiple machines and gain a deep understanding of print and finishing processes. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team, communicating mechanical issues and quality concerns promptly to supervisors. The role emphasizes safety and organization, requiring you to maintain a clean work area and adhere to all plant safety procedures.

Requirements
- verifiedMachine operation in a manufacturing or print environment
- verifiedBasic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
- verifiedReading and interpreting job tickets and work orders

- verifiedAdherence to safety procedures (PPE, lockout/tagout, etc.)
