About the Role
The Labor & Delivery Assistant (LDA) / Unit Secretary (US) functions within the organization's policies and procedures to support Birthing Center services. This role encompasses the clinical, clerical, and technical activities required to assist the unit in providing safe patient care and maintaining a secure environment at all times. The LDA/US works under the direct supervision of the Birthing Center Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and clutter-free physical environment.
