About the Team
Livingston Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Southern Columbia County. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care and are looking for dedicated, caring Unit Assistants to join our Care Team.
About the Role
As a Unit Assistant, you will play a vital support role in assisting staff in meeting the needs of our residents. You will report to the unit coordinator or charge nurse of the wing you are assigned to for the day. While your primary focus is on operational support rather than direct resident care, you will be the first point of contact for residents in need of "no hands on" assistance or safety observation until a CNA arrives.
Your day will involve a variety of supportive tasks, including answering telephones, organizing resident belongings, setting up linens, and passing meal trays. You will also have the opportunity to interact with residents by working in the resident lounge and assisting with activities.
