Truck Driver - OTR - CDL-A

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our team and transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances. This position involves multi-state routes, requiring extended time on the road and strict adherence to safety regulations. As an OTR driver, you play a critical role in ensuring that goods reach their destinations on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Throughout your journey, you will maintain accurate electronic logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation. You are responsible for properly securing cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit and following all Hours of Service requirements and safety standards.

Communication is key in this role. You will interact regularly with dispatch to provide updates on route status, report any delays, and confirm delivery schedules. Promptly reporting any accidents, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues is essential to maintaining operational efficiency. Your goal is to ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Depending on your experience, mileage, and route type, average annual earnings range from $60,000 to $90,000+. Additionally, drivers may receive extra earnings through detention pay, layover pay, safety bonuses, and performance incentives.
