About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our team and transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances. This role is ideal for drivers who thrive on the open road and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and reliability on multi-state routes.
As an OTR driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class A commercial tractor-trailer in full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Your primary mission is to ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule, while adhering to strict safety regulations and meeting scheduled delivery deadlines.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Throughout your journey, you will perform en-route checks and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate electronic logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation. You will follow all Hours of Service requirements and safety standards, ensuring cargo is properly secured to prevent damage or loss during transit.
Communication is key to your success. You will maintain regular contact with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and delivery updates. Additionally, you are expected to promptly report any accidents, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues to ensure swift resolution and continued safety.
