Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are more than just the yellow trucks; we are a team of professional drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time for some of the world's leading brands.
This position is designed for drivers ready to put their truck-driving career in high gear. As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will travel regionally to work at various locations, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. You will be on the move with Penske, and so will your career, with opportunities to move to a new city as the company expands.
When you drive for Penske, you are representing both the company and your clients. You will likely be driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, requiring you to provide incredible customer service and build strong relationships with your accounts. You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.
The schedule involves being away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment. Dispatch times vary depending on the work assignment, and you will travel to an assigned location to work for the duration of that assignment. Penske is known for having great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record, with pay distributed every Friday.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This role is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
