About the Role
This is an immediate opportunity for a Part-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Driver. You will operate late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your primary mission is to load and unload crates of groceries at local grocery stores.
The role is designed for those seeking a stable career with a nationwide company known for great equipment, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. You will be home daily, representing your clients by driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. This position offers the chance to build relationships with accounts and receive tons of training opportunities, with the potential to move to a new city as your career grows.
Schedule and Expectations
This is a part-time position with availability to work up to 4 days a week, as needed for coverage. Schedules typically run from Saturday through Tuesday or Thursday through Sunday, with dispatch ranges between 9 PM and 11 PM. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. You must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area frequently.
Hiring Process
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. The role is regulated by the Department of Transportation; therefore, the ability to work safely and the ability to accept responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others are required.

Requirements
