Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske helps businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands, representing more than just the iconic yellow trucks.
As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will work at various dedicated accounts and shifts locally, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role is about incredible customer service and building relationships with your accounts; you will often be driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms.
You will drive late-model Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your day will involve unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as scanning products as they are delivered. While dispatch times vary depending on your assignment, this position offers the stability of being home daily.
When you drive for Penske, you are representing both the company and your clients. We are a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We pay every Friday and offer tons of training opportunities to help you take your career to the next level. With locations across the nation, you also have the flexibility to move to a new city as your career grows.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
