As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. In this role, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety features like inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your primary responsibility will be delivering bread products to customers, averaging 13 stops per week while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
This position offers a stable 5-day work week with a start time between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, ensuring you are home daily with Saturdays off. You will be on the move with a nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. Beyond the road, you will have access to tons of training opportunities, and with locations across the nation, you can also move to a new city as your career grows.
To join the team, candidates must complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The role is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must also demonstrate English language proficiency to comply with federal law.
