Truck Driver - OTR - CDL-A

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our team and transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances. This position involves multi-state routes, requiring extended time on the road and strict adherence to safety regulations. As an OTR driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and cargo security.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the Class A commercial tractor-trailer is safe and compliant with DOT regulations. Throughout your journey, you will maintain accurate electronic logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation, following all Hours of Service requirements. You will communicate regularly with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and delivery updates, ensuring all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

In the event of any accidents, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues, you will promptly report them to maintain operational integrity. Your ability to secure cargo properly will prevent damage or loss during transit, ensuring that goods arrive at their destination in perfect condition. This role demands a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional communication with all stakeholders involved in the logistics chain.
