Day in the Life
Your day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your Class A commercial tractor-trailer, ensuring all systems are operational and compliant with DOT regulations. Throughout your journey, you will maintain accurate electronic logs, manage mileage records, and keep detailed delivery documentation. Safety is paramount; you will perform en-route checks and secure cargo properly to prevent any damage or loss during transit.
Communication is key to our success. You will stay in regular contact with dispatch to provide updates on route status, report any delays, and coordinate delivery schedules. Whether navigating traffic incidents or addressing mechanical issues, you will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring that all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
