About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our team and transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances. This role is ideal for drivers who thrive on the open road and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and reliability on multi-state routes.
As an OTR driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class A commercial tractor-trailer in full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Your primary mission is to ensure that all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule, while adhering to strict safety regulations and meeting scheduled delivery deadlines.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Throughout your journey, you will perform en-route checks and maintain accurate electronic logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation. A key part of your role involves communicating regularly with dispatch to provide updates on route status, delays, and delivery progress, as well as promptly reporting any accidents, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues.
Safety is paramount. You will be expected to follow all Hours of Service requirements and safety standards, ensuring that cargo is properly secured to prevent damage or loss during transit. Post-trip inspections will conclude your shifts, ensuring the vehicle is ready for the next journey. This position requires extended time on the road, offering the opportunity to cover diverse multi-state routes while maintaining professional communication and operational excellence.
