About the Role
This position offers a dedicated driving opportunity with a focus on consistent home time and comprehensive support. Drivers will operate newer equipment, averaging 18 months in age, and benefit from convenient home-base terminals that facilitate a weekly return schedule. The role includes 100% touch freight, ensuring drivers are involved in the full scope of the delivery process, with additional compensation available for unload, stop, and backhaul pay.
Compensation & Support
Drivers in this role average $1,450 per week, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus available upon meeting specific qualifications. Trip pay is calculated based on dispatched miles at a rate of $0.63 per mile, varying by route and experience level. The company provides 24/7 driver support to assist with any on-the-road needs. Paid orientation is provided, and upon completion and hiring, drivers become eligible for paid vacation after one year of service.
Hiring Process
Interested candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), be at least 21 years old, and have a minimum of three months of driving experience. The application process requires passing a DOT physical and a drug test. Candidates must have no more than one preventable on-road accident in the last two years and no major preventable accidents in the last five years. Additionally, there should be no more than two moving violations in the last two years. Drivers with a DUI/DWI within the past five years (or ten years if holding a CDL at the time) or any drug-related convictions within the same periods are not eligible.
