About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our team and transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances. This role is ideal for drivers who thrive on the open road and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and reliability on multi-state routes.
As an OTR driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class A commercial tractor-trailer in full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule, while adhering to strict safety regulations and meeting scheduled delivery deadlines.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. You will maintain accurate electronic logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation, following all Hours of Service requirements to ensure legal and safe operation.
Throughout your trip, you will properly secure cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit. Communication is key; you will stay in regular contact with dispatch to provide updates on route status, report any delays, and handle any accidents, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
