As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will work at various dedicated accounts and shifts locally as needed. Your day will involve performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. You will unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, utilizing a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Dispatch times will vary depending on your work assignment.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to help ensure safety for all.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
