About the Role
Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, traveling regionally to work at various locations as needed.
When you drive for Penske, you are representing both Penske and your clients. You will likely be driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, building relationships through incredible customer service. This role is about more than just hauling freight; it is about being on the move with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
Day in the Life
You will drive late-model Penske trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your day involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, while using scanners to track products as they are delivered.
The schedule is dynamic, with dispatch times varying based on work assignments. Drivers can expect to be away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment, traveling to an assigned location to work for the duration of that assignment. You will be paid every Friday.
