About the Role
Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? Join a team of professional drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver based in Amarillo, TX, you will drive a doubles linehaul route out of this location. You will represent Penske and your clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, ensuring incredible customer service and strong account relationships.
You will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks featuring best-in-class specs designed for comfort. This role offers a stable schedule with Monday through Friday shifts, dispatching at 8:00 PM, and the distinct advantage of being home daily. You will be part of a nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
Hiring Process
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
