Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands, representing more than just the iconic yellow trucks.
As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety features like inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your primary mission is to deliver medical supplies essential for patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers.
This role is designed for those seeking stability and daily home time. You will typically make 12 to 20 stops per week, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. While schedule flexibility is required to service healthcare providers, the position offers a 4 or 5-day work week with the promise of being home daily.
When you drive for Penske, you are representing both our team and your clients. You may be driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, building relationships that go beyond simple delivery. With locations across the nation, this role offers the opportunity to move to a new city and advance your career alongside a stable, nationwide company known for great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
We are committed to keeping our associates and their families happy, healthy, and secure. Penske offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement benefits, and excellent health care coverage (medical, dental, and vision). Additional perks include short and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, company-provided uniforms, an employee discount program, and a driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral.
We also prioritize your growth and well-being with a safety incentive program and a Premier Driver Recognition Program. We pay every Friday and provide tons of training opportunities to help you put your truck-driving career in high gear.
To join our team, candidates must complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
