About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our team and transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances. This position involves operating Class A commercial tractor-trailers on multi-state routes, requiring extended time on the road and strict adherence to safety regulations. As an OTR driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and cargo security.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Throughout your journey, you will maintain accurate electronic logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation, following all Hours of Service requirements. You will be responsible for properly securing cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit and performing en-route and post-trip inspections as needed.
Communication is key to your success. You will maintain regular contact with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and delivery updates, and promptly report any accidents, traffic incidents, or mechanical issues. Your goal is to ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule, meeting the needs of our customers while adhering to company policies and federal safety standards.
