Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Extra Board Truck Driver in Zeeland, MI, offering a driving career you can feel good about. This position is designed for drivers who value stability, with a local home-daily schedule that allows you to return home every night. As a Company Driver, you are the captain of your vehicle. You make safety decisions, and your job is protected. Trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. We are upfront about pay, routes, and schedules so you can join the team with confidence.

Day in the Life

You will deliver solo to Michigan on a local route. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with some Saturdays, starting at 6:00 AM for 45 or more hours per week. You will operate a Day Cab tractor with a 48' or 53' Dry Van trailer, hauling heavy touch freight consisting of auto parts. While the primary role involves driving, you may assist in loading and unloading freight as required by the customer. You will use an electric pallet jack and ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
