This full-time, year-round position offers local routes with the promise of going home every day. As a driver, you will be responsible for driving Class A equipment to make timely deliveries from distribution centers to Meijer stores. Your role also includes picking up backhauls from various vendors and delivering them to distribution centers, as well as performing yard switching (trailer movement on complex) as needed. Success in this role requires being responsible and professional at all times, with the flexibility to work nights, days, holidays, and weekends.

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid CDL-A license (with Hazmat endorsement capability). The selection process includes obtaining a recent MVR from the Michigan Secretary of State, passing a 20-mile road test conducted by Meijer Private Fleet management, and successfully completing a DOT driver physical and pre-employment drug test.
