About the Role
As a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and inward/outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. Your primary mission is to deliver palletized groceries to local stores, handling loads without the need for pallet breakdowns.
This role offers a unique opportunity to fuel your career with tons of training opportunities and the flexibility to move to a new city across our nationwide locations. You will be on the move with Penske, driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms while enjoying a schedule that keeps you home daily. The position operates Thursday through Monday with an 8 PM to 9 PM start time, and includes an additional $200 incentive for working a sixth day.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and hold a valid Class A CDL licensed in their state of residence. Additionally, you must possess or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card and maintain a 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents. English language proficiency is required to comply with federal law.
