About the Role
As a Local Class B Delivery Truck Driver, you will fuel your career on a dedicated route, ensuring home daily. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, utilizing late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure the safety of all.
Your day involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, while using a scanner to track products as they are delivered. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with your accounts and provides tons of training opportunities. With locations across the nation, you also have the chance to move to a new city as your career progresses.
Hiring Process
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
