About the Role
The Treasury and Investment Analyst III serves as a pivotal operational partner within the Finance organization, managing critical aspects of liquidity, investments, risk, and capital structure for a substantial client portfolio. This role is designed for a US Citizen to support a complex financial ecosystem, including a $275+ million endowment-like portfolio, a $1+ billion defined contribution plan, and a $100+ million defined benefit plan.
In this position, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategic oversight and granular execution. You will work closely with the Treasury Manager, CFO, and Board of Directors to drive initiatives that ensure the resiliency and efficiency of the Treasury team. The role demands a candidate who can navigate niche financial topics, develop materials for C-suite executives, and coordinate resources across internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver precise results.
Day in the Life
Your work will span three core pillars: Investment Operations, Corporate Insurance, and Cash Management. You will maintain accounts, reconcile entries, and prepare monthly dashboards for client management while supporting financial reporting for outsourced and third-party managed portfolios. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to analyzing investment performance, calculating estimated returns on assets (EROA), and presenting updates to senior leadership.
Beyond investments, you will lead the annual insurance renewal exercise, assessing new business needs and resolving claims in consultation with internal counsel and brokers. You will also manage short-term cash liquidity, coordinate with banking institutions, and execute bond administration tasks. As a key driver of process improvement, you will identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows and execute cross-functional projects that require high-level coordination.
Hiring Process & Application
This is a 40-hour weekly contract position operating on a 9/80 schedule with a hybrid work model. The hourly rate range is $50-$55 per hour, based on a target experience level of 3-5 years. Candidates must be US Citizens.
