As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will be the backbone of acute and critical care teams, adapting quickly to new hospitals and workflows at each assignment site. This role exists to optimize patient outcomes through expert management of ventilators, airway clearance, and diagnostic testing. You will not only perform assessments and interpret arterial blood gases but also serve as a vital educator for patients and families, guiding them through respiratory conditions and home care strategies.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to refine care plans and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Your day will involve setting up and troubleshooting complex respiratory equipment while ensuring strict adherence to infection control and regulatory guidelines.
