About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team at a busy clinical site in the Wilmington, NC coastal region. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work with advanced Varian Linear Accelerators and Siemens CT simulators while floating between two clinical sites within a 30-minute drive of each other.
In this role, you will treat a diverse patient population with a daily census of approximately 110 adult patients. The work environment emphasizes teamwork, maintaining a minimum ratio of one therapist to five patients. You will collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care in a safe and efficient setting.
Work Environment & Culture
The primary site features three Varian linear accelerators and one Siemens CT simulator. Royal blue scrubs are required for the role. The position is designed for immediate contribution, as no orientation is required for qualified candidates. Additionally, contract staff may be called upon to participate in storm and hurricane teams during catastrophic events, reflecting the team's commitment to resilience and community support.

Requirements

Experience with ARIA and Varian systems. Knowledge of IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and other advanced treatment techniques.
