About the Role
We are seeking a Travel Nurse RN for PreOp / PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) to join our team in Springfield, Illinois. This 13-week assignment begins on June 22, 2026, offering a dynamic day shift schedule (5x8 days, 06:45–15:15) on a 5-room unit with an average daily census of 25.
This role is designed for clinicians who thrive in fast-paced surgical environments. You will be the first point of contact for patients entering the operating room and the primary caregiver for those recovering from anesthesia. The position is open to first-timers, provided you have a minimum of 3 years of PreOp experience. You will work within a supportive team where floating within your scope is required to meet facility needs, and the schedule can accommodate block arrangements if necessary.
