About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Springfield, Illinois. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and enhance functional independence.
Your day-to-day will involve providing hands-on assistance with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activities of daily living across various clinical settings. You will be instrumental in documenting patient progress, educating patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal recovery.
