We are seeking a clinically competent Registered Nurse (RN) to join the surgical team within the Surgical Services Department as a Travel Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Gunnison, Colorado. In this role, you will be a professional member of the team responsible for monitoring physiological patient responses during all phases of pre-operative and post-operative care.
You will be expected to maintain proficiency in planning, organizing, directing, executing, and evaluating all aspects of patient care. This position requires a commitment to attaining knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice, adhering to professional practice standards, guidelines, and relevant statutes. You will also complete necessary training, education, and orientation to new procedures and processes within the department and throughout the organization.
The schedule consists of three to four 10-hour shifts per week, with call responsibilities including 1-2 days of call per week and one weekend every four weeks.
