About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Bridgeport, West Virginia. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

- check_circleAssist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery while ensuring comfort and safety
- check_circleMaintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures and adhere to infection control protocols
- check_circleAnticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing instruments, supplies, and support promptly
- check_circleMonitor the patient's condition during surgery, documenting changes and notifying the surgeon
- check_circleHandle surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring proper use, sterilization, and disposal
- check_circleManage specimen collection, labeling, and transport according to facility protocols
- check_circleDocument all aspects of patient care in the perioperative setting accurately and thoroughly
- check_circleParticipate in patient handoff communication during pre- and post-operative phases
- check_circleAssist in cleaning and restocking the operating room between cases adhering to turnover protocols
- check_circleCollaborate with the surgical team to ensure compliance with facility policies and standards
Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- verifiedValid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Nice to Have
ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC), or ENPC certifications. OR Nursing Certification (CNOR).
