We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York, New York. This travel position offers a unique opportunity to work in a nursing home environment where you will plan and conduct individualized therapy programs. Your primary focus will be helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities, including teaching them skills and techniques for using adaptive equipment. You will also be responsible for studying, evaluating, and recording patient activities and progress.
This role is designed for professionals ready to make an immediate impact. The position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week. While the specific start date is ASAP, the contract duration is anticipated to cover the current and/or future school year for a period of 13 weeks.
