About the Role
This opportunity places a Registered Nurse in a vibrant small city in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, known for its Riverwalk and as the home of Crimson Tide football. The position is based at a 580-bed Level 3 Trauma center and teaching hospital. You will join the Cardiac Medical Unit, a 42-bed specialized area focusing on Cardiac Telemetry.
In this role, you will provide unparalleled care to a predominately cardiac patient population requiring treatment for chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, and various cardiac arrhythmias. The unit also supports a variety of medical patients with conditions such as pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, and occasional strokes, as well as surgical patients. You will work with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, delivering high-quality care in a dynamic environment.
Hiring Process
To apply, candidates must submit a copy of their ACLS and BLS certifications, along with one reference from the last 12 months. Social Security Number and Date of Birth are required for processing. The position is open to RNs with recent experience on MedSurg and/or mixed MedSurg/Telemetry units.
