About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Postpartum care for a 12-week travel assignment in Newark, Delaware. This role focuses on caring for postpartum mothers, well baby newborns, and opiate-withdrawing neonates. You will work in a 72-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 couplets (mom and baby). The position involves performing special procedures such as circumcisions, Nexplanon insertions, Zulresso infusions, and car seat tests. Charting is performed using Cerner, and the unit operates on a 12-hour day shift schedule.
