About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Brevard, North Carolina, to support a 30-bed variable acuity unit at a Critical Access facility. Recently named one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States, this location is situated 30 miles south of Asheville.
This role focuses on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), serving patients in a stepdown environment with ratios ranging from 1:2 to 1:4, as well as medical-surgical patients with ratios of 1:5 to 1:6. The position operates on a 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, starting June 22, 2026. Ideal candidates will bring ICU competence and IV start experience to a team dedicated to evolving patient care.
