About the Position
TravelNurseSource is partnering with AMN Healthcare to recruit a qualified Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This 13-week contract begins on June 8, 2026, featuring 12-hour shifts over three days per week.
About the Role
The Registered Staff Nurse provides holistic care to patients and families across the entire life cycle, from neonates to older adults. The role focuses on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions within the specific standards and competencies of the CVICU. Key responsibilities include executing the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation—and developing individualized plans of care. The nurse coordinates care among various disciplines, delegates activities to other providers as appropriate, and participates in shared accountability for nursing practices. Through active leadership and skill implementation, the RN helps define and improve practice standards to promote remarkable patient care.
