You will join a nationally recognized regional medical center in Reno, Nevada, which is home to the area's only children's hospital and a wide range of advanced specialty services. This position places you in a dynamic, high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative, expert medical team.
In this role, you will provide optimal patient care for neonatal patients and their families, utilizing the nursing process to ensure accountability for individualized outcomes. You will coordinate care between interdisciplinary professionals, incorporating family-centered care principles while operating advanced NICU technologies, including ventilator equipment. The role requires flexibility, including the ability to float to other areas of the organization as needed and availability for weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
