About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 15-week travel assignment at a facility in Stratford, Connecticut. In this role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging scanners to produce high-quality 3D images essential for medical diagnosis. You will interact directly with patients, administering intravenous contrast dye as needed, and collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results and patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.

- check_circleMaintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure functionality
- check_circleStart I.V.s and administer contrast media per orders and protocol
- check_circleMonitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results
- check_circleDocument all procedure details in compliance with hospital policies
- check_circleMaintain a clean workspace in compliance with infection control policies
- check_circleEducate patients on MRI procedure and answer their questions
- check_circleCollaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for accurate diagnostics
Requirements
- verifiedSuccessful completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization
- verifiedOne year experience as an MRI Tech
- verifiedValid Radiology/MRI license
- verifiedCurrent BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in English
- verifiedProficiency in PC skills
Nice to Have
Current ARRT or equivalent certification. Current ARMRIT or equivalent certification.
