Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Colville, Washington. In this Long Term Care (LTC) role, you will provide skilled nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. You will oversee patient care plans, administer treatments, and monitor for changes in condition. A key part of your day involves collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality, resident-centered care, supervising nursing staff, and educating residents and families on managing chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleDevelop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents and families
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments safely and accurately
- check_circleProvide skilled treatments including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management
- check_circleEducate residents and families on medications, treatments, and chronic condition management
- check_circleDocument care provided, resident progress, and health changes in a timely manner
- check_circleRespond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- check_circleAdhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
- check_circleObserve residents for medication reactions or condition changes and report concerns to providers
- check_circleSupervise and support LPNs and CNAs by delegating tasks and ensuring quality care
Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- verifiedValid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- verifiedCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- verifiedACLS Certification
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- verifiedProficiency in PC skills
