About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Brownsville, Texas. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering rapid-response, high-quality patient care. You will be the backbone of the emergency department, assessing patient conditions, implementing urgent care plans, and administering life-saving treatments. Your work will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams—including physicians, specialists, paramedics, and social workers—to ensure efficient, patient-centered care during critical situations.

- check_circleAdminister prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with emergency protocols
- check_circlePrepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
- check_circleObserve and document patient conditions within scope of practice
- check_circleTake and monitor vital signs to address deviations and prevent complications
- check_circleRespond to life-saving situations based on emergency nursing standards
- check_circleDocument comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
- check_circleInitiate patient education plans according to individualized acute care needs
- check_circleCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- check_circleAdhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
- check_circleMonitor patient comfort and safety, responding to immediate needs
Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent experience as an ER RN
- verifiedValid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- verifiedCurrent PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Nice to Have
TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications.
