About the Role

As a Travel ER RN, you will serve as a vital member of emergency care teams, delivering critical support in fast-paced environments. This contract role is designed for experienced nurses who thrive on adaptability and are eager to bring their expertise to new facilities. You will assess, triage, and stabilize patients while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement effective care plans.

Your day-to-day will involve managing a diverse patient population, from trauma cases to pediatric emergencies. You will operate and monitor essential ER equipment, including cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and ventilators, while ensuring all interventions align with evidence-based protocols. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and families on conditions and discharge instructions. Success in this role requires the ability to quickly adapt to new hospital environments, policies, and workflows while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic health records.
