About the Role
This opportunity places you in a nationally recognized Emergency Department in Asheville, North Carolina, known for its strong culture of teamwork and commitment to serving a richly diverse community representing over 120 languages. In this high-volume setting with up to 101 beds, you will provide direct patient care with a focus on collaboration and patient experience. The role involves working alongside techs, cardiac monitoring staff, triage personnel, and unit clerks to ensure seamless operations. You will be expected to maintain flexibility to float to all sections within the Emergency Department as needed, adapting to the dynamic needs of the unit while upholding respectful behavior practices and consistent communication standards.

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
- verifiedCurrent ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
- verifiedENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
- verifiedExperience in a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
Nice to Have
Previous experience within an HCA-affiliated facility. Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system. Experience serving diverse, multilingual patient populations.
