About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Travel EEG Technician for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Anchorage, Alaska. As a neurodiagnostic technologist, you will specialize in running electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to monitor brain activity and assist in diagnosing neurological disorders. This role is designed for professionals who want to make a positive impact on patient lives while enjoying the flexibility of travel work.
In this position, you will partner with physicians to obtain critical information for diagnosing neurological and nervous system disorders. Your day will involve performing routine and advanced EEG procedures, gathering patient medical history, and educating patients and families on test procedures. You will be responsible for monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal recordings, as well as assessing and documenting results with accuracy and timeliness. This role requires a blend of technical precision and compassionate patient interaction.
