Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care in an 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- check_circleManage and monitor patients with diagnoses including CABG, TAVR, and STEMI
- check_circleOperate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, and CRRT
- check_circleMaintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EHR
- check_circleMaintain patient ratios of 2:1 with occasional 1:1 assignments
- check_circleFloat per scheduled rotation as needed to meet unit staffing requirements
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN licensure in good standing
- verifiedAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- verifiedMinimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience (post-orientation)
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedDemonstrated experience with CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid patient populations
Nice to Have
CCRN certification. Experience with Impella, IABP, and/or CRRT equipment. Strong critical thinking skills with ability to manage complex cardiovascular patients.
