About the Role
Titan Medical Group is seeking a Travel CT Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across diverse clinical sites nationwide. In this contract role, you will serve as a vital partner to radiologists and care teams, operating advanced CT equipment to support precise diagnoses and meaningful medical advancements.
Your day will involve preparing and positioning patients with a focus on safety and comfort, while ensuring accurate anatomical visualization. You will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to optimize diagnostic outcomes, adhering to strict radiation safety (ALARA), infection control, and documentation standards. Beyond technical execution, you will educate patients and families on exam procedures and post-scan expectations, contributing to a culture driven by innovation, quality, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleOperate, troubleshoot, and maintain CT scanners and related imaging equipment
- check_circleVerify patient identity, obtain medical history, and screen for contrast media contraindications
- check_circleAdminister or assist with IV contrast injections while monitoring for adverse reactions
- check_circleCollaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to optimize diagnostic outcomes
- check_circleAdhere to ALARA principles, radiation safety standards, and infection control policies
- check_circleEducate patients and families on exam procedures and post-scan expectations
- check_circleContribute to continuous quality improvement and uphold safety culture
- check_circleAccurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and manage PACS image uploads
Requirements
- verifiedARRT registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R))
- verifiedARRT post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (R.T.(R)(CT)) preferred or required per facility
- verifiedCurrent state radiologic technologist license where applicable
- verifiedCurrent BLS/CPR certification
- verifiedIV certification per state/facility regulations
Nice to Have
ARRT post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (R.T.(R)(CT)) and travel assignment experience.
