Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans to support patients' rehabilitation goals
- check_circleHelp patients perform therapeutic activities to enhance their independence in daily living skills
- check_circleMonitor and document patient progress, providing updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- check_circleCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
- check_circleEducate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and techniques for continued progress at home
- check_circleMaintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
Requirements
- verifiedCertification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program
- verifiedActive state licensure or eligibility for licensure in multiple states
- verifiedMinimum of 1 year of experience preferred
